You know what worries me? Let’s say that Trump’s acts of war are, in part or in total, meant to distract the public and the media from his ever-growing problems with the Epstein files and Jack Smith’s deposition. Let’s say these problems just continue to grow. What’s to prevent him from using nukes?

Hear me out—I’m thinking that maybe the best we can get is to let him finish his term. If he dies in office, he’ll get too many honors, and JD will become president. If he’s impeached and removed from office, JD will become president. But if there’s a midterm blue wave, he’ll be a truly lame duck.
Think he will get the tacky ballroom built? Maybe. But I think this is basically another example of his overriding policy of wrecking stuff.
