Cannabis isn’t only for smoking or oils. The raw leaves are:
Rich in fibre, vitamins, and antioxidants.
Full of raw cannabinoids (THCa, CBDa) that don’t cause a high.
Perfect for tossing into salads, smoothies, or juicing.
Another reason home grow should be legal.

Everyone deserves safe cannabis.
Affordable testing would let home growers check potency and users of imported medicine test for pesticides, mould and contaminants. It’s time to protect patients and growers with accessible, reliable testing.

Cannabis is a botanical/herbal remedy that has been used for thousands of years for medicine and for religious and spiritual ceremonies. It should not be included in the Australian Poisons Standard.

These laws put drivers in an impossible position.
Some still drive but live in constant fear of losing their licence, job, or more. Others have stopped driving altogether just to play it safe.
It’s unfair to punish responsible people for using cannabis at home or for medicine.

Patients are struggling.
Prescription cannabis costs hundreds each month, money people don’t have.
Let patients grow their own.
Savings go to rent, groceries, bills, families and not corporate suppliers.

Compassion first.
Homegrown cannabis = relief without sacrifice.

Patients are forced off legal cannabis just to drive, pushed back to opioids & benzos with worse harms. Driving laws should target impairment, not presence.

A cannabis conviction stays with you long after the court date.
It can block jobs, licences, travel and affect family life.
Stress and stigma make life harder.
Cannabis laws are ruining lives.
It’s time for reform ➀ legalisecannabis.org.au

Adults should have the right to grow their own cannabis for personal use, whether that’s consuming it raw for nutrition or making their own natural medicine. Growing your own empowers people to take control of their health, reduce costs, and choose clean, chemical free cannabis.

People are losing jobs, drivers licence's and freedom because of outdated cannabis laws. Criminal records ruin futures, even when no one is hurting anyone.
It’s time for laws that protect health, safety, and personal freedom, not punish responsible adults.

Don’t Be Fooled! Cannabis Isn’t Fully Legal.
Even with a prescription, people who use cannabis still face workplace discrimination and risk losing their jobs. Drivers can be penalised simply for having THC in their system β€” even if they’re not impaired.

If cannabis was legal, would you grow your own medicine or personal supply at home?
Home grow means:
β€’ Safe, affordable access
β€’ No relying on the black market
β€’ Full control over what you consume
We say let the people grow. What about you?
Would you grow your own?

In 2017, hemp foods were legalised, but growing hemp still faces outdated regulations. If we had heeded Sir Joseph Banks' advice, Australia could have pioneered sustainable textiles, hempcrete housing, clean biofuel, & regenerative farming. It's time to reclaim our hemp history.

First Fleet introduced hemp seeds, which early settlers cultivated in NSW & TAS. By the late 1800s, Au had a thriving rope industry, including a notable factory in Footscray, VIC. However, in the 30’s, hemp was prohibited alongside cannabis. Trials resumed in the early 00s,

In 1788, when the First Fleet departed for Australia, renowned botanist Sir Joseph Banks proposed growing hemp in the new colony. Essential for the British Empire for making rope, sails, and canvas, Banks believed Australia’s soil and climate were perfect for its cultivation. 🧡

NSW politicians view cannabis decriminalisation as "inevitable" after a report highlighted that current laws unfairly target specific communities and increase inequality. This growing momentum calls for reform and a shift towards a regulated approach.

NSW Inquiry into Cannabis Laws Recommends Staged Reforms Leading to Legalisation The NSW inquiry into the state laws governing cannabis has recommended eliminating prison sentences before decriminalising and finally legalising and regulating cannabis.

"β€œAs a lawyer, a resident of regional NSW and as an MP, I believe reform in this area is urgent,” said NSW Labor MLC Stephen Lawrence, in respect of the staged reforms suggested by the NSW parliamentary inquiry into state cannabis law
