the more I think about this achievement set the more I think they're kind of a perfect usage of achievements: no missables that I can think of, no difficulty binding, most of them just unlock naturally by playing the game, they mostly exist as a signpost for what kind of content you could/should do

still need to play through the DLC, only done a bit of the 1st thus far (which is apparently by far the worst, which I can definitely see because it seems to be like, 2 hours of content if that), I heard 2 is a bit better, and then the rest are all really good. should be fun!

100% achievements on DBZ Kakarot, very cool game that I think is one of the best ways to explore the DBZ story, probably up there with Budokai 2 (I really liked the board) and Budokai 3 (another open world-y style one). feel like you get all the achievements naturally too which is nice.

i was so glad when I re-read the achievements and saw the penultimate one was "raise 200 different types of Digimon" and not "raise all types of Digimon", shaved like 36 off the required total which would've been another like, 5 hours minimum (probably closer to 10 or 15 tbh)

kind of a fake 100% because I used like 15 "QoL" mods that turned it from a 300 hour grind into "only" a 56 hour grind but 100% on Digimon World Next Order, yippee. probably my favourite Digimon game

actually I'll allow harder difficulty achievements on the condition it just makes enemy AI smarter and doesn't change any numerical values like damage done or enemy HP because that shit isn't interesting, but if you make the AI do better combos or something that's fair

probably a very cold take but you should be able to 100% achievements for any game that doesn't have some sort of branching narrative or Meaningful Choice Mechanic in one playthrough and on any difficulty, hate that shit, Digimon Time Stranger did it too, just lame man

crazy fucking lame that they all have achievements for completing the game on New Game+ though. i just beat the whole game but if I want 100% achievements I have to beat it again? nah I'm good man

played the Sony Spider-Man games over the last two or so weeks, pretty fun games, Spider-Man probably my favourite superhero I think

starting off with a game so wank I've not heard a single good thing about it from anyone at all, into one of the best games of last year? the wheel taketh and the wheel giveth I suppose
