In short, I showed the dragon's face, and I'm not going to play noble: put a couple of likes for me and we're even. But seriously, it's very difficult to make body renderings when there are such huge wings, and also when the model is not small. The model is already in UE, and I'm already tired of looking for locations, making compositions, and feeling sick. I have drawn conclusions for myself, and therefore there will be further HDRI renderers, just depth renderers and UE renderers separately. This is more convenient for me, and given the statistics of VK, DA, FA, I found out that just a rendering of a model with .... smoky on a black background is also very interesting to the public. So I'm going to test, study statistics, and draw conclusions.

On the edge of the Dead Hills, beneath the weight of a starless night, he rose—the Black Dragon, whose name had been deliberately erased, in the hope that oblivion would bring peace. His wings eclipsed the moon, his breath exhaled ancient magic steeped in the suffering of countless generations. Yet he was not the true horror of this night. The real nightmare was those who had once been beloved: warriors, kings, commoners, mothers and children—all those whom the kingdom had so honorably laid to rest. The earth that was meant to be their final refuge. But the kingdom had forgotten the cardinal rule: death despises confinement. And the dead do not forgive those who wield them as weapons. For centuries the kingdom had conducted grand funerals: stone crypts, engraved tombstones, elaborate rites. With every new grave, the soil absorbed more bitterness, until the veil between worlds grew perilously thin. The Black Dragon did not attack—he merely reminded. I started it on May 5th and finished it around July 20th, it took me about 300-400 hours, which is about how long it took me to make the black dragon. I still try to make models quickly, but I am constantly finding new and different ways to achieve my goals, and it is not always easy to get into new material right away. Software: ZBrush | Maya | Arnold | RizomUV |Marmoset | SP | Photoshop | UE5|PureRef

The air is thick, heavy and humid, each breath seems to pass through a rag soaked in dampness and rot. Branches snap underfoot, and dirt squelches under your boots, foreshadowing trouble with every step. You walk carefully, pressing two crossbows to your body - the taut bowstrings tremble with tension, as if anticipating a meeting. The forest is too quiet. No cawing of crows, no rustling of animals. Only your breath and the splash of swamp water. And suddenly... a crack. Not the usual crunch of branches - no. This is a sound that makes the blood run cold in your veins. As if the forest itself held its breath. You stop. A shadow. Enormous. Moving between the trees. Slowly, heavily, like a mountain awakening from a centuries-long sleep. Before you is He. The Black Dragon. Not a legend, not a fantasy over a mug of ale. Real. Wings like scraps of the night sky drag shadows behind them, claws rip up the earth, and eyes - bottomless and ancient - look straight at you. He does not roar. He does not scream. He just walks. DnD dragons breathe under the tongue, in all the dragon references by Alexander Ostrowski it is visible, but only the black dragon does not have a tongue. Once I came across a video with a python in VK, I noticed that it also has some kind of tube, having decided to study the anatomy, I realized that the basis for all DnD dragons is the feature of the structure of the mouth of snakes. After analysis, I came to the conclusion that the black dragon does not have a tongue. Why? Because it was burned by acid. The baby black dragons have a black face, and as they grow older they use acid breath more often, which burns their face, the tongue began to dry out and simply died off, and the caustic vapors of the acid burned the black pigment on the face and horns, turning them white, and the mucous membrane of the nose was also burned. As a result, the tongue was removed and remained in the Zbrush project.

I don't even remember when I first learned the word "dragon" and its appearance, it seems that I adore them all my unfinished life. I know for sure it could be the first or second grade. I remember watching them on VKontakte in different groups, I was always inspired, my first 2 videos were of a person drawing them in Photoshop, the video was an hour long. I once dreamed of making a dragon too, but unfortunately I was in a very aggressive society, when in elementary school my classmates found out my awe for dragons, I was subject to bullying until the 11th grade, but despite this I still burned with desire, but starting from the 4th grade problems began to happen within the family, even then it was difficult to draw, both school and home everything caused fear, thoughts from the dream of creating a dragon faded into the background, only sometimes I dreamed at night. By this time my love for the dragon moved to FA, I was stuck on these creatures only there. And then somewhere around 11-12 years old, watching content on a new tablet, I saw a mobile version of FA, I wanted to understand how to make this version on a computer, but I didn't know English and for some reason I chose General Mature Adult in the settings, I thought that the more the better, and the next day, I saw that my artists had more content, then I learned what guro, thief, crushing, rape are. That content became the last straw and I extinguished my desire to create a dragon, bullying at school because of dragons, problems with my father, shock content 18+, I buried my dream forever. I will hide what happened to me next, and I will say that when I started studying 3D in 2024, a buried dream awakened inside me, and so, having spent 14 months in 3D, on January 9, 2025, I took my will into a fist and finally risked creating a dragon, through pain and nervous tics, I scrupulously fought off the ref as best I could.

Sorry it’s taking me so long to finish this. Originally, I wanted to complete it by February 18, the release date of the new 'D&D' book. I started working on it back on January 9. But I didn’t make it in time, and I feel ashamed that I can’t deliver my content to my viewers on schedule. This is my fifth project, but it’s the first one where I’m fully sticking to the reference.
