Painted lots of fun purple-y stars last night. Unsure if I want to doodle on and around them. May do so with metallics and then fussy cut them to use as embellishments for other projects...

Thank you! I am digging the purple. I'm using a super inexpensive set of paints from an unknown source which kinda adds to the fun because I have very little attachment to whether I'm "wasting" the paint.

*nods* if you already aren't liking it... "messing it up more" doesn't really matter. It can be quite freeing because sometimes continuing to mess around with a piece does lead to a whole new outcome!

Some art advice:
If you feel like your art sucks... Just keeping eff'ing around with it.

That's what I told myself when I didn't like the change I made to the center star. After blurring the outline (which I was really regretting) we ended up in a place that I don't hate.

Saw the Minecraft Movie and enjoyed it. It was the totally the right amount of goofy fun! I was so surprised & amused with the theater erupting into applause again and again.
