PRISCILLA is a restrained and respectful but largely inert affair that can lose its subject in the details of her context. My review:

THE CREATOR: conceptually fertile but emotionally and thematically vacant. It looks and sounds nice—Edwards is adept at capturing scale—but it has next to nothing to say about AI, and due to its shortcuts through nuance and blank-slate protagonist, even less to say about being human.
