Anyone want a death guard army for Β£400 + postage and packaging

Thinking for 30k.

Gives me a chance to chop up a carno to make it stand upright more, give it bigger arms and wings and make it a greater daemon.

I already need 10 and I don't know what for yet, but I'll work that part out later lol.

Current idea of a ruinstorm daemon army of lizard like daemons though.

Dread saurian-lite.

I love them and need 10.

Rhunish drakes from the lord of the rings range, shown on the warhammer community page.

Looks solid to me!

Also, have you seen the new LoTR stuff?
I see lizard potential!

Converted night haunt mega gargant using a chapel and graveyard for basing.

I do really like this sculpt to be fair.

But they need to up the game a bit.
Here is a tactical chapel.

Oh the new models are insane, especially the specialist game sculpts like necro.

The oldies are still dear to me though πŸ˜†

These look great!
Painting up some 5th edition lizardmen at the moment.

Really do miss some of these old models πŸ˜†

Unit of 3 kroxigors with its skin painted up orange now and scales started.
Eyes finished on all 3. Kroxigor face, side view. Close up of kroxigor eye. Closeup of kroxigor eye on the other side.

I love the old kroxigor sculpts.
For older models, they still paint up so damn nicely.

Do need to take a break now though.
Skin is done and scales need highlighting, but painting their eyes has made me feel blind πŸ˜†

Skink chief painted in my orange and grey colour scheme.

And because I couldn't fit his pic in the opening post, poor guy.

5th edition lizardmen sculpts in varying stages of painting.
Salamander with handlers, 10 saurus, 10 skinks, skink chief and 3 Kroxigor. 5th edition saurus warrior squad with one model test painted in my orange and grey colour scheme. Skink unit painted in my orange and grey colour scheme. Salamander painted in my orange and grey colour scheme, with its handlers in varying stages of painting.
Skink chief off to the right, painted except his base.

Pulled the trigger and started on my 500 points of 5th edition lizardmen.
All basing will be done at the end to make sure it matches.
Varying stages of painting, but the skink warriors, chief and salamander are finished.

Enjoying painting stuff bright for once!

I'm struggling to find words to describe this.
Is it an old teddy bear with the mouth of a dune worm as a face? I think?

I only got in to it as i was originally printing terrain, but a couple of friends kept saying about ideas they had and it got me tinkering.

That's actually a damn good way of looking at it, i appreciate that!

I'm using it more at the moment so I really need to think about a proper program.
Using windows 3D builder is a bit limiting πŸ˜†

I always prefer scratch building or sculpting though as its my comfort zone.

I've spent a couple of months trying to plan it, but things like a maulerfiend would give a chunk of it.
The fiend also has a ton of organic parts though, that are no use and I'd need to remove.

I gave up after hours of planning and loaded 3D builder πŸ˜†

Giant robotic rhinox built in windows 3D builder.
It will be a new mount for Ghark Ironskin.

True, but the shape is there, you can tell what it is from a mile away and it already looks damn good.
That alone is one hell of a victory.

I mean, where would you even start with scratch building this? πŸ˜†

Yea, it would definitely be noticeable.
Scratch builds always have a charm to them that you can see a mile away, especially terrain.

I honestly can't build mine by hand sadly, I have a fair grasp of most hobby bits, but this is just miles above my level lol.

Lettuce jokes aside, we all already have free speech on all platforms.

What she wants is speech free of consequences, which is very different.

Likely just going to be a Temu/Wish twitter knockoff πŸ˜†

My problem is that if I started slapping together a shell, I'd end up just doing the whole thing, so I can totally understand that.

Been tinkering all afternoon on a project that was only meant to be an hour or so.

I'm lazy, my plan would be to print a shell for the front end slightly smaller than I want, then use that to shape everything over πŸ˜†

This may sound stupid, but what about a foam ball?
The bottom of the front is essentially a sphere, and you could sand the foam in to it to bridge it if that makes sense?
Being foam, you can also hack it apart.
Only really need a quarter of the ball to get all angles.

Hope it makes sense.

Forgot to post this here as well, thank you so much to everyone who supported me along the way to getting this project finished and in the case!
All of your support before the event and during as fueled me to already start working on next years piece as well!

The front shape is definitely interesting on them πŸ˜†
I slapped a quick mockup together on 3D builder that I never finished and the front end, even on that, was a pain.

Thank you.
Something really different from my usual stuff, so actually makes a nice change too.

Gnomish caravan designed in 3D builder by me for my old world Gnome army.
Front view. Gnomish caravan designed in 3D builder by me for my old world Gnome army.
Detail shot of the door. Gnomish caravan designed in 3D builder by me for my old world Gnome army.
Rear View.

Decided to do some 3D designing.

Want to start a Gnome old world army, but Gnomes need caravans πŸ˜†
Trying to design it modular for variety.
Will be pulled by 2 fenrisian wolves painted up as foxes in the end.

I've had a few so far as I just love the model.
Fits the undead theme more than ghost too.

Removing the horse from the hand is also pretty quick and easy with a half decent blade and a file.

Check eBay bud.
Mournguls go for Β£40 or so and there are always loads on there.
Surprising that it went OOP and the price barely moved.

Rear overhang with tactical rock, drop a set of horses, angle upwards diagonally a bit.

It will be fine! πŸ˜†

I'm shit with making things too big for a base though.
I managed to make a proxy for the coach and it was even bigger lol

Could always take a page from the current old world trend.
Chop out the rear horses and bring the front ones backwards, meaning it's only being pulled by 2 like it once was.
Helps keep its size down without ruining such a good model.
