@sianberry.bsky.social and Cllr Steve Davis ( @withdeangreens.bsky.social ) are speaking up for our city.
Here's why we're calling for an emergency council meeting, and demanding that Labour MPs provide answers on why they're backing brutal attacks against disabled people and the most vulnerable.

So Labour can find the money to 'relax' their changes to the non-dom tax regime but they can't find the money to restore the winter fuel allowance or lift children out of poverty by scrapping the two-child benefit cap 🤔
Whose side are they on?
@bhgreens.bsky.social and Cllr Steve Davis are right. Labour leaders in Sussex need to be up front about their plans for a Greater Brighton Council and ask the public if that is what they want. #AskthePeople

It's an outrage to see so many County Councils, including Suffolk & Norfolk, asking to stop local elections.
The councillors wanting to decide on the shape of our councils for the next half century need to have a recent mandate.
Labour scrapping the phase out of gas boilers and backtracking on pledges of a 'rooftop solar revolution' is bitterly disappointing.
I also fear the revolving door of this Gov't and the 'environmental sector' means this won't receive the scrutiny it deserves.

Final motion and @withdeangreens.bsky.social says the increase on the bus fare cap from £2 to £3 will have huge consequence in the city with the higest level of bus use outside London. Families on lower incomes are 3x more likely to be on buses, they are a necessity #LDreporter #Brighton #Hove
We're certainly a breed apart 😀
Gosh no, our administration recently reduced car park charges
The Labour Party are sinking to new depths - now copying propaganda from the most disgusting racists

‼️ NEW || Greens take control of Lancaster City Council.
@helenwithanh.bsky.social thanks for the add, love the radrunner
Me too, it was a great atmosphere and your fans were superb. Good luck for the rest of the season 🦁
Ah mate just got back from The Den, got to love a 92nd min equaliser 😀. Tbf your lot were decent especially as missing so many players. I'd rather you than Leeds right? 😁
@davenextthesea.bsky.social cheers for the follow, not a Sunderland fan are you? 😀
Cllr Davis is right, Brighton Labour's obsession with a Park&Ride site for the city is pure fantasy. Just look at the many expensive feasibility studies previous Labour administrations have commissioned. Even the unsuitable sites have gone, either built on or in the national park. Time to move on.
🧐
One minute into listening to Keir Starmers BBC local interview - and it's clear how much trouble we're in.
Justifying cutting off winter fuel payments to pensioners all around the country - he says it's a tight budget where they had to balance the books.
Starve kids and freeze pensioners...
So driving tractors past barriers with tens of thousands protesting a tax break is fine, but a Zoom call about the biggest issue humanity faces warrants jail? Makes sense.
Bristol City Council is not (yet) on Bluesky.
Please retweet this if you think that all local councils should open Bluesky accounts and use them for communicating with the public.
This will help me to make the case locally for them to get on it!
If only there was some way that the Labour Party could have known that their fantasy of building a massive car park on the South Downs National Park and then running a viable rapid and frequent bus service through the congested city streets was undeliverable. 🤔
