Not knowing he was bleeding in the middle of a fairy ring under an ancient Oak sacred to the Fae - having saved one of their own, a Changeling.

Many miles away, Ghost suddenly gasps in pain and kneels over from what felt like a lightning bolt to his lower abdomen.

With a smile on his face Soap closed his eyes and took a breath, deciding there's no harm in entertaining this hallucination while he catches his breath.

Without his conscious cue, his mind conjures up an image.

He smiles wistfully at how deeply he yearns for it.

And sleeps.
