Earlier today in Gresham, Oregon (a suburb just outside of Portland), a US citizen was detained by ICE after taking photos of their unmarked vehicles. US Gestapo smashed the persons car windows before detaining them. They have since been released.

The same Portland ICE Landlord also struck a protester with his SUV in 2018 and said he wanted to fight them.

I've been trying to do as much delivery work as I can, but I fell really bad the day before yesterday & sprained my ankle & fucked up my knee & that is on top of the pre-existing physical strain from the surgery. Over recent nights, Portland has seen nazis showing up to nightly protests at ICE. Tonight, three of them were shouting "heil hitler" into megaphones and seig heiling. Two of them were seen on 10/17, tagging along with three other skull-masked nazis and threatening people.

I know exactly what night you are referring to. That is the night that the misinformation started to spread that the green smoke was the super toxic shit- US Marshals were using HC that night and they threw Green Smoke to hide their use of HC, which is what caused all the nausea and migraines.

Sorry for the Ted Talk but it is my life's mission to correct the prolific misinformation that HC smoke burns green because it absofuckinglutely does not and that information can & has driven people to run out of the less toxic smoke into the more toxic smoke thinking they were doing the opposite.

The green smoke is a colored SAF smoke they used to hide their use of HC smoke, which they were throwing at the same time, while collecting only the HC canisters after so people wouldn't be able to identify what it was, & the new symptoms were from the HC smoke, not the green smoke. But yeah, fair.

You know what's worse than a tear gas period? Because I don't. There's no joke here, this shit sucks.

There are exceptions to everything, and I am not in charge of anyone, nor am I a leader, but these are things that I believe, based off my experience, can help things go smoother in the chaos and can help prevent communities from driving their medics to the point of burnout.

When you scream "MEDIC" you are giving very little information to those you are asking for help, but 17,496 other people are also asking them for help at the exact same time, and they have to assess and prioritize accordingly.

Put as much information as you can into as few syllables as possible.

People who won't respond to calls for medics will respond to calls for supplies if they have them.

If you need help, and you know the specific help that you need, yell for that thing specifically. You don't even need to use a full sentence.

If you get caught in the smoke, you don't need to yell for a medic, just yell "SUDECON."

If you fall and scrape your knee, you can just scream "BAND-AID."

And obviously, there are circumstances where someone might need to call for a medic. I do not want to discourage people from asking for help when they need it.

Think of it like cooperative self-directed triage. We do not want severe injury to be drowned out by a sea of screaming spice.

We are expecting record-breaking numbers at protests nationwide. There are a finite number of medics everywhere. WE PROTECT US, and that includes taking steps to protect ourselves instead of expecting others to do it for us.

I do not want to save you.

I want you to teach you how to save yourself.

If you make these wipes, PLEASE print out labels with the instructions in writing or write the instructions on the bags in sharpie, and give these out BEFORE they start gassing. They are designed to be self-administered. If you have wipes and know how to use them, you don't have to call for a medic.

POLICE CHEMICAL MUNITION DECONTAMINATION WIPES Combine the following: 1[one] gallon warm water 9[nine] cups white granulated sugar 2[two] tablespoons citric acid Stir until dissolved. To the previous mixture, add 21 fl oz [twenty-one fluid ounces] unscented baby shampoo. Mix gently until combined. Soak napkins or paper towels in the solution. Squeeze out a majority of the excess, and fold two or three of the saturated paper towels together at a time, placing each bundle in a single use ziploc bag. To use them, tilt head back with face towards the sky, close eyes tightly, and squeeze remaining solution from towels directly over CLOSED eyes [DO NOT PUT THIS SOLUTION IN OPEN EYES], then wipe from the inner corner of the eye outward and wipe away residue from the skin, unfolding the material as you go to consistently have a clean surface.
