Was fortunate enough to be in the room for the DK Bananza talk given by Kenta Motokura and Tatsuya Kurihara at GDC today, and I was absolutely blown away. Nintendo EPD's approach to game design is so inspiring and hearing them break it down while sitting a few feet away was unbelievable.

Fair enough! Yeah I generally am not a fan of gore either, I think the digital nature of game graphics helps me separate it from reality but in movies and TV shows my stomach is not very strong 😔
Mario the man vs. Mario the idea
I wasn't someone who played horror games at all either before trying RE2 Remake but now I'm hooked on the series, that game is definitely worth a shot if you're ever curious what the series is all about!
Just rolled credits on Resident Evil Requiem and god damn, Capcom COOKED. The modern RE games have all been great but this was the perfect blend of everything that's made this series special and I loved every second of it, even when I was shitting my pants!

i think we all need to normalize just being comfortable with giving earnest compliments without weird caveats. if your friend does something cool, tell them it’s cool. i don’t necessarily thrive on compliments, but it does means a lot if a friend goes out of their way to say something kind to me.
