Clay is an excellent protection for timber/ straw (as our ancestors knew). This pretty much aligns with EcoCocon's fire tests where 25mm of clay plaster provides 2 hours of Resistance to Fire to EN 1365-1

This hurts. While building & bricks saved for reuse is best, barring that demo brick can be used for rammed earth walls & in earth block construction
