(Mine ain't a Hellcat, but Hellcats ain't got shakers and I know what I like...)

Beautiful fall day, 69 degrees and sunny. Good day for an open sunroof and the annual state inspection.

Pamela Susan Shoop as Maggie in Knight Rider S01E01, "Knight of the Phoenix"
Pamela Susan Shoop as Marta in Knight Rider S04E01, "Knight of the Juggernaut"
I never noticed until last weekend's rewatch of Halloween II that Nurse Karen (who gets her face boiled off in the scalding hydrotherapy tub) is played by Pamela Susan Shoop, who was also Maggie in the Knight Rider pilot AND Marta from the Knight Rider fourth season premiere!
22.10.2025 02:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0During spooky season 28 years ago, a friend brought over a copy of Halloween (1978) and I watched it for the first time. Now it (and its 1981 sequel) are two of my favorite horror movies of all time.
Having just watched them again tonight, my opinion hasn't changed.
You too eh? I've got the lifetime warranty on mine as well, and I'm definitely gonna ride it till it dies. Probably the car will outlive Stellantis the way things are going.
Modern cars are increasingly just wildly expensive disposable appliances and it's sad.

I'll probably just stay in this Challenger until it dies, but if it ever does I'll probably go back to one of these and pretend I'm living in simpler times.

Been limping along with ancient routers for a long time and finally found a decent deal for an upgrade.
Still not gonna pay WiFi 7 prices, but this should suffice for a good while.
I remember finding this on E2L8 when I was 13 and getting all excited to call Apogee and see what I won. Yβall were closed for the day so I did some research and found out about the cancellation. Dβoh.
Back then I was playing Wolf3D 1.2 which still had the codes displayed next your high scores.

I was always firmly on Duke's side :)
I remember having arguments on CompuServe about which was the better game, Duke3D or Quake. In the end, they're both landmark games, but people who prefer one over the other just value different things. Back then I valued environment detail, world interactivity, and crass humor the most, ha.

For reference, this is the man who told me I could drop dead tomorrow and nobody at the company would care.
So, he'll get 1/10 ratings from me until I literally do drop dead.

29.09.2025 15:14 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Very interested in Silent Hill f, but am worried I won't like the actual gameplay since I hear it's kinda Souls-like. That genre is total kryptonite to my tastes.
I'll probably watch some gameplay before I make up my mind, but this is where a demo (like Stellar Blade had) would be really helpful.
I finally get to the weekend and the bedroom ceiling fan decides to die. Either that or the wall switch controlling its circuit did. Which reminded me that my multimeter doesnβt work. There goes more hours of my weekend.

Also got told not to work this weekend. Then immediately got told to come up with a plan over the weekend for how to finish the project in half my estimate.
Forced to endure a 3-hour refinement call about a new project, then less than an hour later, was asked to provide--solo, without help--the estimated time to completion for that project.
Offered my estimate, then was told it needed to be half that.
Completely lost my shit. I mean I exploded.
