When stuff gets really messed up, I’m in the habit of saying “this, too, shall pass.” I wish I believe that right this minute.…

I get incredibly anxious about flights. Drives my wife crazy. I agree with her. On the other hand, my defense is that in my traveling days staff calculated that I took between 5000 and 6000 flights. If that doesn’t make a total mess of your head (and body) I don’t know what the hell would.

I am a combat decorated US Navy Vietnam veteran. I am completely and totally disgusted by the act of taking Harvey mMmilk’s name off of ship. If the Secretary of the Navy did not resign over that and he is a complete dick in my mind.

US Navy veteran. Served 4 years, including 2 in Vietnam. And received combat decorations along the way. All that prelude to saying that I am pissed off beyond recognition at taking Harvey Milk’s name off a ship. contemptible-disgusting. SF resident many years, Harvey M was a hero.

As far as I can tell, the new deal is the rich get richer and the poor pay for it with shittier healthcare support. Am I missing something?
