Recently, life forced me into a reset … fairly certain many of you are aware.
Which resulted in …
New city.
New place.
Every post I make, I get emails like, “I feel seen - you get it.”
Today’s was about being alone on Easter.
Truth is… LIFE IS HARD!
Most people feel like they’re losing the game.
But to win, you gotta STAY IN THE GAME.
Even when life Mike Tyson’s you in the face.
Hope isn’t waiting—
It’s choosing.
Startup lost.
Bike wrecked.
Mom chemo.
$30k burglary.
I don’t freeze.
I build new.
Plot twist → launchpad.
Choose life, joy, growth.
We got this!

I almost let anger ruin my life.
He wasn’t a friend—he was the co-owner next door.
Broke in.
Stole $25K worth.
Cruel. Calculated.
I wanted to fight. Burn it down.
But I chose center.
Clarity.
Police report. Legal action.
Feel it all—just don’t get hijacked by it.
That’s power
Technically unhoused.
The thief is in *my* home.
And still — I’m having a great day.
Not from comfort, but choice.
Life’s been tossing lemons like it owns the orchard 🍋
But lemons don’t squeeze themselves.
It takes grit.
Mindset and gratitude - the best thing I’m wearing right now.
I was robbed Saturday.
By my neighbor.
Day after trying to get a restraining order.
He cut the power.
Disabled cameras.
Stole everything
Even my meds and my dad’s burial flag.
But he doesn’t get to write my story.
I do.
Pause.
Breathe.
You’re still in control.
We got this!
I live alone… so if there’s hair in the drain, it’s mine—or I need an exorcist.
Life’s still messy.
But I don’t need to love every part of it.
I just need to choose how I show up.
Gratitude.
Perspective.
Intention.
That’s freedom.
We got this.
And if you don’t, I got you.
I am the CEO of my business …
And the unpaid intern of my life.
No boss to delegate to.
No backup waiting in the wings.
Just me - running it all.
Some days, it’s just too much.
But here’s the trick: start small.
One email. One deep breath. One step forward.
We got this! Love ya'll!
I heard my own voice …
No - not the one telling me “you’re fat”.
That old negative voice from my youth I shut down pretty quick.
This is what I heard.
“Every day is an investment in tomorrow—either good or bad. So make a choice.”
So I did!
