Cracking half year update from Chesnara (#CSN) today indicating:

✅️ Cash generation +26% to £37m
✅️ Solvency II ratio +4% to 207%
✅️ Leverage ratio stable at 31%

Following a bidding war for New World Resources, Central Asia Metals (#CAML) has decided not to further raise their offer from A$0.065 a share having been outbid by Kinterra. I continue to hold.

Mony Group (#MONY) has published their interim results for the six months to 30th June indicating:

✅️ Revenue +1% to £225.3m
✅️ Post-tax profit +3% to £45.6m
✅️ Earnings per share +4% to 8.6p
✅️ Net debt -27% to £18.4m

I hold.

Alumasc (#ALU) has published a trading update ahead of their full year results indicating:

✅️ Revenue +12% to £113m
✅️ Pre-tax profit +9% to £14.2m

I continue to hold.

Concurrent Techology (#CNC) has published a H1 trading update indicating:

✅️ Revenue +27% to £21.3m
✅️ Pre-tax profit +4% to £2.4m
✅️ Order intake remained strong at £22m

You're right! Clearly needed more coffee - first two figures are their OPERATING PROFIT and Profit Before Tax 😅

Surely they have higher revenue than £125m

Polar Capital Holdings (#POLR) has published an AuM update reporting that as at 30 June AuM was +8% to £23.2bn compared to £21.4bn. I continue to hold.

H1 trading update from Vistry Group (#VTY) today indicating:

❌️ Revenue -22% to £125m
❌️ Operating profit -33% to £80m
✅️ Net debt "significantly reduced" at £295m
✅️ On track to deliver FY increase in profit

I continue to hold.

That's pretty concentrated for my taste - but also much easier to manage! (And significantly de-risked by the high cash %age).

You're spot on there - it's kind of the approach I'm trying take. 100% agree that the smallest are also typically easy pickings for selling and consolidating into my larger positions 👌

A reasonable concern - on a capital basis, including dividends, I'm on about a 1% annualised return which is pretty underwhelming!
