I remember seeing the dog up at the table. Walking back 45 mins later the couple were eating dessert and the dog was still up at the table with a slightly cheesed-off expression on his face.

I took this picture almost 10 years ago. The boy in the pic is my son. I remember this day. We were walking in the Galloway Forest, Scotland, My son wanted to go hunting for 'fog monsters'.

It was ice cold and foggy, every aspect of nature looked like something from another world.

There is a small bench in the centre of the picture and I have no doubt that it is the most evocative seat in Southern Scotland. White I was sat there I saw 2 red Squirrels, Deer and a woodpecker
