I have two businesses: Nature Notes, which is a global approach to wildlife conservation and education through art, science, and caring for the environment. I have also created Nature Notes Wild Bird, a division of Nature Notes that focuses on my homemade wild bird products, including sustainably grown birdhouses and feeders, gifts, and more. Nature Notes Wild Bird is in the works! I am enjoying the creative process. Making your own items to market is a lot of fun! Between my close relationships with friends, having a supportive chosen family, working on my businesses, and having something to look forward to every day, I am in a much better space. Me and the birds are loving this large ground feeder made from pinewood. Holds a lot of seed. I need to refill it every day though!

I made this really cool design and I’m kind of playing around with this journal and pen idea. I’d like to offer it as a set and it be my signature product. I’m also considering sizing my store down and selling stuff I make including my homemade wild bird products along with just a few niche things.

Golden butterflies quilt. This imagery for this piece comes from the decorative leather and gold leaf cover of a book titled, "A History of British Butterflies," by F. O. Morris and A. H. Clark. The book was published in 1890 by John C. Nimmo and is now part of the Smithsonian Libraries Biodiversity Heritage Library.

This was such a joy to see in person! He wasn’t even two feet away from me. I love feeding and caring for my wildlife friends. I think they know I take good care of them. 🙏🏻❤️

I was outside checking my feeding stations and this little guy flew right up to me. He wasn’t even two feet away! 🤎

I had a really fun day enjoying my backyard. I used some of the things I carry in my nature shop to make my backyard the best it can be for all birds as well as critters. I’ve taken some time away while moving, but will be adding these things to my Wild Bird Superstore next month. Check it out!!!

I took this sweet picture yesterday of these two snuggling rabbits at a local farm store. They were the sweetest. If I knew enough about rabbits and how to care for them I would’ve brought them home with me! 😊

Behind me is just a fraction of our untouched unbothered ungroomed wildlife enriched habitat. When we bought this house 12 years ago my only request was to let it GO WILD. I didn’t want pristine gardens and crap. I wanted a well rounded biodiverse sanctuary.
