From 1970. Every Tuesday morning. Initially on ITV around 9:15am. Then when TVAM started it soon switched to Channel 4/S4C. Latterly it was TX each Tuesday around 5:45am. Until July 1990 when the IBA was abolished that year. Never listed in TV Times.

I see that ready made mono-band (LC circuit) end fed half waves retail for about £50. Don’t see any sold in kits for about £30? Wonder if there’s a gap there? Simple to make and when the sunspot cycle tanks in 2-3 years it’ll all be about efficiency over convenience.
People have done balloon antennas but I’m not sure if you’re allowed to go 260 odd feet high?
