Poilievre Advisor: Okay, just be cool out there and remember to clarify when referencing Robin Hood that you don’t mean the one that everybody knows
Perhaps an interesting option for them to consider would be to make the southern US their primary residence.
Albertans did not give Danielle Smith and the UCP a mandate on 9 new referendum questions.
Or on separatism, or pulling out of the CPP, or breaching charter rights, or coal mining in the Eastern slopes, or bringing in two-tier health care.
Cut the bullshit. Call the election.
Net migration in Alberta. Up, up, up, down, down, down.
Net international migration to Alberta totalled 197 in Q3 2025, down 99% from 32,046 in the same quarter a year prior.
The UCP has been in power for 51 of the last 55 years but according to Danielle Smith it's the family who arrived six months ago that is wrecking the province.
One of the worst episodes of Canada's past was the Chinese Head Tax. Something that the Harper government eventually apologized for and provide compensation. And she wants to bring it back! thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/c...

First, the UCP said there was an “election integrity crisis," which led to a voter ID law.
Then a “national unity crisis” → a sovereignty referendum.
Now a “crisis of confidence” in the courts → defunding judges.
There is no evidence of these crises.
The UCP is trying to manufacture them.
AI is a virus.
Danielle Smith: "I hope people today feel a lot more confident that Canada works than they did a couple of days ago."
UCP convention crowd: LOUD BOOS
No one should be under any illusions about who the base of the UCP are.
Separatists and far-right radicals have been given care and feeding by UCP Premiers since 2019. One got thrown overboard because it wasn’t enough. Catering hasn’t mollified them either.
Almost like the UCP is basically anti-Canada
There’s a word for that, I swear
Danielle Smith has already used the notwithstanding clause to remove workers', parents', and patients' rights to choose.
It's not hard to see where the road is leading. The UCP has given a roadmap, for those who need the help.
Tax the rich.
The Premier is ordering teachers back to work by invoking the notwithstanding clause from the airport lounge. #ableg

Let's be clear about what happened today.
Premier Smith introduced a bill to strip Albertans of Charter rights,
denied MLAs the opportunity to debate it and the courts the ability to scrutinize it,
and did all of this from her seat on a jet to Saudi Arabia.
Wondering why voter turnout is so low in this year's Alberta municipal elections?
It's by design: the UCP wanted to pick its voters. 👇
Will the voter suppression work electorally in their favour?

The UCP wants to replace "Wild Rose Country" with "Strong and Free" on provincial license plates.
The minister responsible said caucus, alone, decided on the change. And that the move was "clearly non-partisan".
Here's the official party logo.
You be the judge.
Wait. So Alberta’s federal income taxes don’t belong to Canada but BC’s coastline belongs to Alberta?
What in the When It Suits Us kind of Trumpian thought pretzel is this now?

We are told that Charlie Kirk was "doing politics the right way" by going to universities to speak his mind.
We are told that universities do not allow people with Charlie Kirk's views to speak their minds.
It is odd to be told both those things.
Thousands of protesters marched in Washington DC and Chicago in the US, to denounce President Trump’s deployment of National Guard troops and arrest campaigns by immigration agents in those cities.
Immigrants aren’t stealing your jobs.
But employers are stealing $50 billion in wages from workers each year.
#Alberta throwing away its 'Alberta Advantage'
It’s pretty simple:
- AI is driving electricity demand up
- The Trump Administration is restricting new electricity supply from being built
- When demand goes up and supply goes down, you pay more for electricity.
