For the last few months, I've been selling tabletop games at general - not geek or gaming - markets through Cardboard Monster.

Here's what I've learned about selling games to people who don't think they like games:

I was discussing it with a designer I’m mentoring. She is more interested in story than crunch but was looking for a way for players to take/give narrative control. VB is a great example of doing this in a very diagetic / cinematic way. Doesn’t hurt that she was also a Haikyu!! fan ;)
