that they both attempt to circumvent the reality of things by keeping busy (or in Achilles’ case getting fucked up by Mars), but they must confront the truth at some point. Makes me think of #557 where extremely visual metaphor Achilles says the best feeling of his live is only relative. I wonder

I think it can be perfectly normal to want to kick the shit outta yourself and worship your strengths in the same 24 hour period. Peaks and valleys and all that, except those peaks and valleys have cat ears

Based on what I know, or what I think I know, about the nature of this comic's setting, I find it somewhat disquieting that the physical intimacy they share is inherently violent.
