The War Parties: Labor, One Nation and the Liberals just voted together to pass a Bill that will slam the door on Iranians fleeing a war they have cheered on.
The idea that you could replace the independent well-resourced scrutiny by the ANAO and its highly credentialed auditor team, with a handful of chosen political hacks from the Liberal and Labor parties is laughable.
There is already a dangerous lack of public scrutiny of Defence, just at the same time as its budget is increasing and is projected to cost three quarters of a trillion dollars over the next decade.
The same week the Albanese Government joins a war, they cancelled one of the major transparency measures in Defense.
Kristi Noem is worse than useless.
Remember: Noem rigged DHS so she personally had to sign off on all expenditures over $100,000.
Secretary Puppy Killer specifically and personally refused this contract that is now placing lives in danger.
$200,000 is less than Noem spends on her hair and makeup.
