Thoroughly enjoyed #DearEngland at @nationaltheatre.org.uk last night. It’s not always that change and culture management is so enjoyable and entertaining

I heard from a Canadian recently that the whole 51st state stuff is now wearing very thin. It was a joke, or treated as one initially, but no longer.

It is reported that the King will be meeting with President Zelenskyy tomorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with the ketchup bottles of Palm Beach

I really hope that no date is ever fixed for the second state visit

whilst the current occupant of the White House is talking about invading everywhere, starting trade wars, etc, what is he really doing behind all this. He is all about smoke and mirrors so all this is a distraction for something potentially far worse

Saw #Hadestown last night. I overheard someone sitting behind me saying that it was like Sondheim. Whilst they are entitled to their opinion, it really wasn’t and I just didn’t get the show.

Seeing Starlight Express took me back probably 30+ years when I last saw it at Apollo Victoria theatre.
The show has changed - new songs and characters. I prefer the voice of “control” coming from the ether rather than a child on stage.
It remains though a lot of camp nonsense about trains racing.
