Bike Stolen: Tern HSD S8i e-bike stolen from out front of Blaisdell YMCA between 9:50-11:30am (during yoga class) They cut the chain lock and back wheel lock. Police report filed, hopefully this act was caught on Y’s surveillance camera.

Any and all help appreciated.

Again, murder is legal in America if you do it with a car

I’m always confused when people complain about cyclists not stopping at stop signs.

The vast majority of drivers do a “rolling stop” (i.e., they don’t actually stop) when possible.

This is so normal people don’t even see it as breaking the law, but when cyclists do the same thing, it stands out.

Imagine if our cities and neighborhoods made it this easy to opt out of using a car every time and everywhere?

For less than the cost of resurfacing a mile of car-damaged roadway, they could do exactly this in your neck of the woods.

3/4 For previous art festivals I never imagined I could haul my art and supplies on a bike. My eyes have been opened and I am so excited to do this again. I’m now considering a cargo bike purchase in the near future :).

2/4 While my main goal was to sell art, I didn’t expect how much fun it would be to also have so many bike conversations!

Biked home from Art a whirl day 2 last night and remembered one of the greatest mpls feelings is biking across the Hennepin Bridge at night. Protected lanes would make it even better :).

First day of AAW reflection: several people did not know about the @mplscargobikelibrary.com but were beyond excited to learn about this new Mpls resource! Love being able to talk to ppl about the great work they’re doing! Come up to the top floor of Q.arma today to keep the convo going!

Thanks to @bikemn.bsky.social and @mplscargobikelibrary.com I’ve been able to make my Art-A-Whirl experience completely car free! Yesterday I picked up a cargo ebike and loaded my stuff to take up to NE! Hands down best art fair installation experience ever!
