VICTORIA is a black girl, 12 years old, 5’1” tall, 140 lbs., and has black hair with twists. She was last seen wearing:
• A tan “Rugrat” shirt.
• Blue jeans
• Red and black shoes
Victoria is a Type 1 Diabetic and is wearing an insulin pump.

PLEASE SHARE: Missing Child - Victoria Alexandria Jackson. The Minneapolis Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Victoria Alexandria Jackson , a missing 12-year-old girl.

VICTORIA was last seen walking from Minnehaha Falls on August 2nd around 8:00 p.m.

I was glad to recently meet with a group of Seward residents to discuss franchise fees, carbon fees, municipal utilities, and other strategies to reduce emissions in Minneapolis.

Last year, after a massive fight with the Frey administration, the council added carbon dioxide to the city’s pollutant fee system. When fully implemented, it is estimated to reduce carbon emissions by 6% in the first year.

We all deserve to breathe clean air. The dangerous air quality this past week shows the need for leaders who will step up as the Trump administration passes harmful climate policies.

As we wrap up the fifth annual City of Minneapolis Black Business Week to celebrate and elevate Black-owned businesses, I wanted to share some great places in our community for neighbors to visit!

Details: August 5th at 1:30pm at the Committee of the Whole at the City Council Chambers Temporary Location - Public Service Building (250 S 4th St, Room 350). Residents will have two minutes to share anything related to the topic of immigration and City policy.

At the meeting, there will be an opportunity for residents to share their comments with City Council and the Mayor on the public record. Testimony can focus on the events of June 3rd or anything related to the City’s role in immigration enforcement.

On June 3rd, there was a federal operation that included ICE where MPD was present. We have many unanswered questions about this event, so Council requested an after-action review of the City and MPD’s actions. The findings will be presented at Committee on August 5th at 1:30pm.

Last night, Team Robin hosted our first Pride Drag Show Fundraiser. During these challenging times, it was wonderful to come together for an evening of joy and resistance. As we build our base for this fall, I see so much strength in our community!

Last week, I attended a barbecue hosted by SEIU Local 284. Local 284 members are the educational support staff and adjunct faculty that create a positive learning environment for Mpls students. I am proud to stand by our workers and support their organizing efforts in Ward 2!
