Getting ready to leave for the airport. Wifey in a panic as always. Suddenly she says “I NEED SOCKS, CUTE SOCKS” Me being the dummy asks “Why do they have to be cute?” Her looking at me with a dumbfounded look says “HAVE TO TAKE SHOES OFF, HAVE TO HAVE CUTE SOCKS!!!!”

My Best Friend Erinn and I needed some time off. So we are visiting Chicago this weekend. First stop, of course, is a zoo. Brookfield Zoo Chicago to be exact. More adventures to come.

Off to Reno for a few days work. Then I hope to visit my family in Sacramento next week. A lot of travel this month but most of it is vacation days. Woohoo.

I go west to Reno next week. Then to Chicago. And the end of April Wifey and I are off to Key West for a week. But I really need to come to your area soon.

On my way home. Very quick layover in Denver then off I go.

Off to Houston for a few days. Also it will be below zero in KC every day I am gone so looking forward to 50 and 60 degree weather

My Wife: this is the biggest one we have…besides the other one.

Well I completed my LEGO Mercedes F1 car and brought it up to my office. This was one of my favorite builds. Thanks Baby for getting it.

Huge news. Ron Howard and his brother Clint will be with us for Crypticon Kansas City. This is a very rare appearance at a con.

I get up to go to the restroom and come back to every seat taken up by wifey and critters.

I recommend no fewer than 4 copies of any beloved book. A paperback for traveling and lending to friends, an eBook for reading with greasy snack fingers, an audio book so you know how the characters' names are actually pronounced, and a pristine hardcover to be buried with you like a pharaoh

It has been a long two weeks in South Carolina but finally headed home for the holidays. I have a weird flight lineup tonight. Charlotte to Nashville to Atlanta to Kansas City.

We’re back

The one I got said I would receive 2.5 million. Lol

Made it to Charlotte. Now I have an hour and a half drive to Columbia.

Two hour layover in Chicago.

Off to South Carolina today. Be there for a couple of weeks. It has been nice spending so many weeks at home this time but off on the road again.
