The real joy comes from destroying desalination plants in a country already in an existentially terrible drought.

Jess Dieterle's lovely larp Wigilia is a gentle dinner game about continuity and death, with haunted plants and some chow, at a minimum some Polish oplatek wafers. A favorite of mine. www.goldencobra.org/pdf/2016/Wig...
Tim Slumstrup Aunkilde's larp "Easter: A Tragedy" is a really fun/awful dive into toxic family dynamics over an Easter meal and really shines with real food to sullenly pick at scenariofestival.se/wp-content/u...
Welcome Guests is tangentially about food (the premise is "cannibals invite their next meal to dinner") and infinitely more fun when played over actual food www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/2...

The overall relationship map will definitely appear somewhere and maybe that's enough.
Working on Nine Fantasy Games, each a one-hour freeform existing in a constrained matrix of relationships. I mapped it out and wonder if this is a good way to show which roles appear in a game (one page with each game), and also their connections and externalities. Or maybe it is just chartjunk.
This month, we read “Star Crossed, a two-player game of forbidden love by @helloalexroberts.bsky.social. You can listen to the episode here:
I surely am!
They absolutely do, in a direct sense (Bunnies & Burrows; The Warren) and in an indirect sense (Any game that uses lyrical abstraction or tells animal tales)
Atomic Empire is my FLGS
The demonym for a person from Xalapa in Mexico's state of Veracruz is "Xalapeño" which I like a lot

Power move
I had such a lovely time last year, and they treated me so well. You will have a great time!
Yes, those are the best
If you liked The Blue Way, this revised version includes new edits based on review by academics, a teaching guide, and a whole add-on that expands it beyond brute force assimilation into a blending of cultures.
Yeah this model presents three asymmetrical factions, each with a three-player subgroup. Everyone has four meaningful connections. There's a six-player "ring" that forms its own subgroup and connects all the factions (In this case, members of the Petrograd set). Lots of thought in this design.
So a famous "was it a suicide, really?" party, I'm here for it
In this case "run it" means do all the non-fun labor like finding a venue and dealing with actual people, but if you are up for that we can definitely talk about it.
This is one of those things where ideas are cheap and I need someone else to do all the work to make it happen.
This entire thing was inspired by this photo
You aren't wrong
It's fine! I think the folks who would have told me were at GTS all week. Thank you for sharing the good news.
