Boudica crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈 today at 19 years old. She saw me through my education and kept me company for years after. She was the most gentle little soul and the best cat I could have asked for. May you find peace, little one. I will miss you. Your meows live on my heart.

The picture shows a print within a gold frame. The print depicts a sunrise behind a mushroom. The background is white at the bottom and fades to dark blue at the top. The rays from the sunrise are green at the bottom of the picture, dark green at the edges of the top of the picture, and magenta at the inner part of the top of the picture. The mushroom is depicted as netting and polygons so that the sunrise can be seen through the mushroom, which is dark purple on the bottom and light pink at the top. The mushroom is framed by flowers, also made of nets and polygons. The flowers are dark purple around the base of the picture and fade to white at the top of the picture, contrasting with the dark blue background. All the colors are very vivid and saturated.

This was the only painting in my bedroom while I was growing up. I loved its bright colors as a toddler. I still do as an adult. If anyone knows anything about the artist, I would be grateful for the information.

Some fungi in reds, yellows, and oranges, including iconic species like fly agaric, orange caterpillar club, orange-peel fungus, and chanterelle, as well as some more unusual ones such as red cage fungus, flame shield, and yellow earth fan. UK fungi species in eye-popping shades from blue to violet, including some relative rarities such as violet coral, wrinkled peach, and ballerina waxcap, as well as more common species such as plums-and-custard, blue roundhead, hare's ears, amethyst deceiver, and wooly milkcap. Even when they're in shades of brown, fungi are beautiful, so here are some including jelly baby, hen-of-the-woods, old-man-of-the-woods, magpie inkcap, and trooping crumble-cap. And yet more fungi, in shades from light brown to white, including some dapperlings and parasols, earthstars, saddles, stalkballs, clubs, and cauliflower fungus!

A maple tree in the forest is a vivid red color due to the arrival of autumn. The surrounding trees, barely seen on the edges of the photograph, are also turning from green to yellows and reds. Leaves of various hues fill the entire photograph.

I can't deny it anymore. Autumn has arrived in a brilliant red display.
