i know this image in my head absolutely isn't accurate to all or most cases, but it's hard to condition oneself out of strange, pervasive ideas like this. I don't even know where it came from to try and dismantle it from its root.

By comparison, my own personal narrative feels blurry and inconclusive. I don't know what went wrong where, or if I'm just overreacting, or if what happened to me really was "that bad," and i feel like if it had just been more obviously Worse, then everything would be clearer or easier.

i feel like... i desire closure. similar to what jisc1 said in its reply, there is an image in my head of a victim who has come to terms with their past traumas and has been able to reorient their sense of self, despite, or even in relation to, their past pain.

sometimes i think about all of the delicate factors that go into things like our planet having eclipses of the sun and moon and i feel so very blessed to live in a world where that stuff happens. like how lucky it is that the perspective between our moon and our star lines up just so

idk. just the stuff that you dont realize is differences of perspective till you hear it from someone with different experiences than you. like yes i love that shit, but also i barely think about it, bc to me its somewhat expected, just like any other instrument may or may not appear in any song

and obviously the bullshit isnt always just "random." songs that are About computer-y things (as vocal synth tends to return to often by nature of the medium) then shit like telephone tones and mechanical alarms serves to further the narrative of the song in the musical arrange. but even then

i like it a lot, plays a lot into my enjoyment of what i personally call "adhd music" but might as well be called "overstimulation music, but just a step down from pure breakcore." it gives the music a cool texture and diversifies the sound scape
