The OSSC Pro AV input card with RF input is now in stock: videogameperfection.com/products/leg... Check the info below befor ordering it.
Also the next batch of OSSC Pro is going to be delayed probably until Q2 2026. Only 15 in stock right now. So better grab one if you don't want to wait.
Testing new OSSC Pro 0.82 firmware - not released to the public yet!
I asked Marqs to implement Line 6x for PAL games in LM-Adaptive mode. The results speak for themselvesπ₯ I will update profiles once new firmware dropped.
Sure, go ahead.
Some additional info about wii model that might be compatible (not guaranteed) with the 480p bug fix when using analog output. The board revision is RVL-CPU-01 which can be seen through the battery slot.
Keep in mind: Forcing Framebuffer resolution and disabling flicker filter don't work with all Wii games (but many going by my testing) and some games use game related post processing effects. Tutorial: youtu.be/sjECzM61atg?...
All info applies to Wii NOT Gamecube games!
Reminder about improving Wii image sharpness:
If you plan to buy a high quality scaler or install a HDMI mod in order to achieve a sharper output using USBLoaderGX homebrew is IMO a must as you can see looking at the four images. Upscaling and 480p bug fix is just half the battle
Marqs dropped a firmware update for the original OSSC and I missed it.πBefore you update I recommend to read Bob's retroRGB article: retrorgb.com/ossc-firmwar...

Merry Christmas!π
Changes:
Updated info and increased category rating:
R4K CE: E-conserve and Spatial redist. mask features.
M4K: Improvements and fixes with Sync, S-Video and Composite (PAL sources).
OSSC Pro: New added profiles.
More review updates are planned at some point in the future.
I have updated my retro gaming scaler review including the latest bigger updates of all three scalers. No changes to the overall score except for "OSSC Pro Profiles & Features."
Some of you asked me about the settings of the image on the right. Here is the Retrotink 4k PRO & CE BVM profile: drive.google.com/file/d/12kkh...
Don't forget to adjust gain after loading the profile: www.youtube.com/watch?t=424&...
Same image without bsky scaling and lower compression: lh3.google.com/u/1/d/13MT4b...
Note: These are direct captures just to show the difference in brightness.
On an OLED TV it looks even more impressive. Firmware download: retrotink-llc.github.io/firmware/4k-...
A new Retrotink 4K Pro & CE exp. firmware released with the new spatial rest. mask feature which additionally minimizes brightness loss. Night and day difference when e-conserve scanlines and spatial mask combinedπ₯SDR output! (HDR disabled!)
Yep, it's a mono mask
Here is another example of the Retrotink 4k CE & Pro E-Conserve scanlines vs standard scanlines. Both images are direct captures with HDR disabled on the R4k. The difference in brightness is quite significant. π
Mike just released a new Retrotink 4k Pro & CE exp. firmware update: retrotink-llc.github.io/firmware/4k-...
E-Conserve scanlines are a game changer. HDR disbaled(!), BVM scanlines and mask.
Both images are direct captures just to showcase the difference in brightness.
Thanks!
Here it is!π₯

The OSSC Pro is considered as the best downscaler on the market btw
Looks like the release of the Morph 4k Crosspoint got pushed back. Going by the latest news there will be no update until well into Q2 2026
If you don't want to wait any longer to downscale your games VGP is going to sell refurbished OSSC Pro units with 25% discount tomorrow. Linkπ
You can download Morph 4K N64 profiles via wifi. Final adjustements to horiz. phase and DE left have to be made based on your setup. You can't just copy numbers from others.
Hadware emulation? What about OG N64 hardware rgb modded and paired with scalers like the OSSC Proπ
OSSC Pro profiles creation slowed down a bit due to my scart switch having issues so I had no choice but to replace it. Good news is I'm back on track close to the finish line.
The Retrotink Dreamcast 480p dongle is on sale! π

As with Retrotink 4K profiles you're going to have optional OSSC Pro profiles to fix the aspect ratio of bad PS1 PAL ports.
Parasite Eve 2 is a great example for a lazy pal port π₯΄

btw I'm feeling honored that my Retrotink 4K CE, Morph 4K and OSSC Pro Review is a part of the episode. βΊοΈ
Thanks to GBI color matrix feature we can also apply different color schemes with OSSC Pro profiles. π₯
1. OSSC Pro sharp profile
2. OSSC Pro LCD GBA profile + GBI GBA color matrix
I am going to include the GBI dcp config file with GBA and GBA SP color matrix.
Looks like I missed a few details when creating PSP profiles. The shadow mask preview in bool.space/mister/Shado... is displayed differently on the OSSC Pro.
Here are all 4x OSSC Pro PSP profiles with all corrections applied.
