Exactly. I didn't suddenly "become transsexual" when I was lucky enough to finally have safe access to (a limited subset of) medical transition, I just finally started having some of my needs met in a world that had been trying to kill me since I was in kindergarten

You're intentionally engaging in a discussion that unavoidably includes your trigger word. That's self-harm, and you need to mute and move on

I've been in and out of PTSD-focused therapy for the last 22 years and the very first session was about how it's impossible (and very rude) to make everyone cater to your triggers, and that *you* need to avoid situations where triggers are likely
