The southern interior of Iceland. The highlands here are full of contrasts of dark volcanic landscapes and light green mosses as seen in the photo. The foreground is formed by interesting shapes of fresh moss and in the background towering mountain peaks. Dark heavy clouds add to the mysterious atmosphere.
