Arsenal dominating but only 1-1 after 45. Spurs clearly most happy with that result at half time. A rare mistake from Rice led to the equalizer. Arsenal had a few more chances but Eze is the sole Arsenal goal scorer so far. He now has 4 against Tottenham this season.

Arsenal are still in pole position but mentally this wasn’t what the players needed. We all know what the narrative will be. NLD on Sunday. High pressure. Hopefully the players will see it as an opportunity for redemption rather than fearing a season defining defeat.

I’ve been watching Sweden winning our first gold and silver in the Olympics so I just switched to Man U v Tottenham. No surprise that Spurs are behind. Absolutely no surprise that Romero has been sent off.

Spurs vs Man City is a win-win for me. It’s clearly great for Arsenal if Man City fails to close the gap but I will fully enjoy seeing Spurs getting dragged into the relegation battle.

I don’t understand why the game often is allowed to flow when it’s clearly offside — the linesmen keeps their flags down until the chans is over — while situations like this (Brentford free on goal) is called by the refs immediately since you can’t correct it. No free kick for me btw.

It’s funny how losing our third game in 30 made plenty of people completely lose all sense of perspective. Arsenal’s performances haven’t been perfect but given the amount of games and our position in all four comps, I’d say we should be more than happy so far. And now we’re winning again so RELAX.

It’s hilarious that Spurs’ fans will support Man City against their own team to prevent Arsenal from winning the league, while dropping points puts them dangerously close to the relegation battle. It’s just who they are 😂

Solid performance. Nice to see Havertz start, Gyökeres and Jesus score, and Calafiori back in the PL. Defensively we had zero worries. I assume all the neurotic binary world view people will be quiet at least until Tuesday, which will be nice, unless they go off the rails and celebrate the title.

Time for Arteta’s men to make all the haters shut up. I feel confident going into this. Havertz getting the nod is intriguing for everyone but Ødegaard. 3 points today would add pressure on City who’s facing Spurs tomorrow. Could be back to a 7 points gap by the end of the weekend. Let’s hope so.

Great goal by Man U. Really great strike. But I don’t understand why he’s allowed to touch the ball all with his hand. Arsenal really need to pull themselves together though. We’ve been shit since minute 30.

Arsenal dominant in the opening of the game. Deserved to go ahead. A few mistakes open the game up. Zubimendi gifted Man U a goal. Jesus as number 9 hasn’t worked great. Gyökeres should fancy his chances of coming on early in the second half.

Arteta knows that Man U will try to break through the middle. As long as we can control that I’m confident we’ll win. Prediction: 3-0. Jesus and Trossard will score. Gyökeres with the nail in the coffin close to 90.

Arsenal have 6 points and 7 goals up on FC Bayern. I guess it’s possible for Bayern to catch Arsenal but it’s very likely Arsenal will win the group stage.

Solid performance by Arsenal. Lovely to see the strikers stepping up and scoring all three goals. Gyökeres looked solid as a target as well. 7 games. 21 points. Goal difference 20-2. Impressive.

Good opportunity for Arsenal to go out and have fun at San Siro tonight. A few rotations in the starting lineup and I’m sure we’ll see more players rested in the second half.

Deserved victory for Bodø/Glimt against Man City. Hence, top 8 is not a guarantee for Guardiolas boys. A tough game against Galatasaray is coming up, just before facing Spurs in the league.

Bodø/Glimt is making it difficult for Man City. 2-0 at halftime. Going to Aspmyra is always tricky. Let’s hope they can keep their composure in the second half.

And I know, we shouldn’t forget about Aston Villa. They can shrink the gap to 4 points tomorrow. I still consider City our main threat though.

Just to add some perspective: if Arsenal keeps the current point average (2,27) for the rest of the season, Man City can only afford to drop 5 points in the remaining 16 games. I’m not saying it isn’t possible but we’re in a good position. Don’t be too negative.
