That speech after Gortash is so powerful because of that. Everything she had been avoiding, comes flooding out in anger, in tears, in timidness at moments. That's what makes her endings so good too because they tell different pathways of handling chronic illness. I just love her okay

Karlach is an excellent metaphor for chronic illness. The engine was forced onto her and she has had to live with the consequences of it. The adventure is about her coming to terms with the engine and her past. It is when Gortash is dead she truly begins to accept her reality.

"karlach's whole plot is getting revenge on gortash!" WRONG.

"Karlach never stops being angry, it's annoying" AND WHY WOULD SHE?

Does no one pay attention to all the companions and just focuses on the 1-2 they like?? I will go to war for all of them

what is with this new wave of bg3 players saying Karlach has no plot/no character development because i'm tired of being a keyboard warrior for such a well written character that is the bestest girl

every time i play karlach's origin it just reignites my deep love for this game. it's so well done and i feel connected with her and her journey
