I honestly think all of the ridiculous updates are so they can try to justify the pricing. (I think the AI crap totally bloats the software, too) I got some new plugins for CS6 to make it feel like I'm not downgrading haha, there are a lot of great ones!

It just gets worse and worse!!!!! There are a few features that are nice but not worth the headache. I'm glad I've got it off of my computer.

Affinity is great for vector art but photoshop really is the gold standard for painting with a PC, plus I've been using it for a decade at this point. this old dog can't learn new tricks anymore haha

I have been using photoshop CS6 professionally for my paintings for about 10 years now- I am sure that is a great option for photo editing but probably not beefy enough for commercial paintings! 😔

yes! I love her, she totally sticks to being herself, and I love that she doesn't really fit into any category. I guess the same can be said for most of the companions, but Idira in particular really embodies this.

object selection tool, I will miss you. but you were not worth the horrible headache I have experienced. artists, do not use CC, it's a shitty product. To cancel without the fine, upgrade your membership to something else THEN cancel immediately for free + a refund of your upgrade.

Ever since I switched, I have dealt with: bizarre lag requiring me to close and reopen every hour or so of working, constant AI slop peddling, the autosave feature NOT WORKING, file recovery after crashes NOT WORKING, crashes once a week opening tools/menus I use 100s of times.

You know, I bit the bullet a few months ago and upgraded from Photoshop CS6 to CC, and I can say after a good time using it, it's absolutely not worth it. It's horrible. The final straw was losing about 3 hours of work yesterday after a horrible crash. THEN I lost another 2 hours due to a freeze.
