While not a perfect institution, it is the only multilateral forum to address Human Rights and our presence makes it stronger. 3 years ago today Russia waged its further invasion of Ukraine. I arrived in Geneva to the news and co-led a meeting at the U.S. Mission with the Ukraine Ambassador. I then led the U.S. in walking out on Lavrov. For three years we stood resolutely with Ukraine against Putin’s unlawful aggression.
