Whipped this test model for my new Ash Waste Nomads gang for #necromunda! Contrary to my usual methods I slapchopped 90% of the model, quite happy with the result.

Throwback at the board I made for #armiesonparade 2024. Was equally fun and challenging, first time I did something this big! I think I'll got the opposite way for 2025 and make something smaller but more detailed for #killteam or #necromunda.

Got Tribes of the Wasteland early and good lord, the art is *amazing*.

Painted up a Sister of Silence for my #darkangels successor chapter. I'm using six of them as Inner Circle Companions because I love the model sooo much, and I have also written some cool lore for them!

Nicely done! The orange glow is so cool on necrons
16.03.2025 23:29 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Last tip: do not overlook the skirmish games. Kill Team is great to play and has some nice models; small squads allows you to explore many different factions without committing to a full army. And Necromunda... has the coolest models ever made, hands down. Plus, it's narrative and super fun! [end]
16.03.2025 18:47 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0For example I have Necrons because I'm deeply in love with their lore, but they are boring to paint. So I also got space marines (+ chaos ones) because they are a fantastic canvas to create homebrew lore, heraldry, and converted models. And some Votann just because space dwarf are cool! [continues]
16.03.2025 18:45 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The only good recommendation is to pick what you like! Take a look around the model range of the factions and go for what inspires you. And don't be afraid of liking more than one thing! Many people have different armies that scratches different itches. [continues]

40k enthusiast here! I share the same interests and that's how I got into the hobby, I absolutely recommend it. One of the great things is that there are many ways to enjoy it (books/media/lore, painting, competitive games, narrative games, TTRPGs) so anyone can find their own way to experience it!
16.03.2025 17:55 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Spiced up my terminator librarian for an upcoming game. Had a lot of fun with the shooting effect!

I think elves are cool, even elfball decks have fun tricks to keep things interesting. Same for rats.
Slivers can be very annoying depending on how hard you push them.
(Infinite) tokens is the definition of annoyance for me tho. Got killed by something like 52 squirrels once. Hated it lol.
Itโs gonna be such great fun, the seeded prerelease packs are top notch to jump into the set. And I think everyone in the universe can agree that dragons are just always cool

Well well well, the Volkus terrain is finally done! Can't wait to use it in my upcoming games. Do you like the jungle/forest theme?

Re-worked the color scheme for my #ironwarriors warband. Now I'm happy. Man, it took a lot of trials to find something I like, but it was worth it.

The terrain is halfway done! I'm missing some scatter pieces and the large building; should be complete for the weekend.
I realized the lore I wrote for this planet is way too long for these posts. I'll find some other way to post it if people are interested.

[2/?] Volcanic activity is also very intense: When erupting simultaneously, the many volcanos dotting the surface of the moon are capable of ejecting so many gases and debris that darkness engulfs the moon and its atmosphere is rendered unbreathable for humans.
#minipainting #warhammer40k #killteam
ve gone back and reworked Asurmen. I've added shine and colour as well as a bit of depth to the armour. I wasn't going to be so complex with his painting, but I decided it's better to paint for myself and enjoy it! #Adwip #Aeldari #paintingwarhammer #WarhammerCommunity
13.02.2025 20:59 โ ๐ 205 ๐ 17 ๐ฌ 5 ๐ 0[1/?] Gaveron II is the second and largest moon of the gas-giant Gaveron, situated in the Valdhar System.
The few landmasses present on Gaveron II are dominated by dense jungles extending over both plains and mountainous areas, and are populated by a very diverse fauna.
I've started to paint my Volkus terrain and to motivate myself I wrote down some lore for this forgotten world. I decided to share this little lore in a series of snippets every time I finish a piece of terrain; sounds fun.
The first one is in the comment below, I hope you'll enjoy this series!
Great work! I totally get the hassle, I resorted to literally put on a timer and stop working on each piece when it ran out. Rough psychological pressure did its job lol
13.02.2025 15:33 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yup, just checked some pictures of the sprue and indeed they have the forearm sculpted on the back. Clipping it away to fit the shield on a gun/choppa arm isn't to difficult (you can be messy since it's the back anyway), but a bit time-consuming I'm afraid.
