Honestly I feel like it is better for people who grew up without always-on internet access. I was well into my 20s before I could go online whenever I wanted, and social media still seems like a pretty new thing to me.

Of course, I could probably still benefit from therapy, but for other reasons.

I'd love to go to Japan. But I'm not so much interested in anime stores, Shinjuku, Akihabara etc., would rather spend time in natural areas and visit plenty of shrines and temples :)

I've actually met very few other musicians in the fandom (though I know there are plenty, just haven't met them) and virtually nobody who uses the same 3D art software as me.

There's a decent amount of furs into Warhammer and tabletop RPGs and stuff, at least :3

I downloaded Football Manager 2024 on the Xbox, and unlike 26 it's actually playable, kinda (it works fine and isn't laggy, but it's baffling spreadsheet nonsense that makes very little sense to me).

Tried two things on Game Pass tonight that were genuinely unplayable. Dead Static Drive has the most shonky controls I've seen in decades, and Football Manager 26 lagged to hell and back on screens of (tiny) text, then hard crashed once I'd made my dude and had the temerity to try and start a game.

I dunno if I have access to any jobs with movement techniques at this point, so I guess magic is the only way. At least you can change jobs any time outside of battle, I just hope I've not missed unlocking something vital earlier on. And yeah, I'm pretty decentish at strategy and FFT has been tough.

I tried that, but because she's so high up her range is almost the whole map (the maps are pretty small in this game), and there isn't enough space for everyone in the places she can't reach, so she'll just stay in the same spot and keep attacking anyone that's still in range.

I can't even get to her though, that's the issue. She's on a rooftop my guys can't climb, so I can't melee, she's too high for archers, so all I can think is maybe respec and use magic, if it'd even reach, but that seems like terrible design - "oh you brought the wrong party, fuck you, restart :)"

Literally cannot get anywhere near her, because presumably she has some height traversal ability my units do not, so melee is out of the question. Don't have any casters currently, but it seems like the only option might be to load an earlier save, respec, and try using black magic.

Oh sweet, BA-1 is a nice synth (and imo not as well-known as it should be) so I'm definitely interested in checking out your presets!

About to give up on FF Tactics. Got to a mission where an enemy archer runs to the top corner of the map, inaccessible to any of my units, but can hit almost everywhere. Can do nothing but have her slowly plink everyone to death. Like wtf am I supposed to do here? She's too high up for my archers.

I haven't played enough for a solid assessment, but on first impressions I found myself not liking it as much as the first one. Not even sure exactly why.
