We won’t see daffodils until early April.

They are heavy but they just glide across the ice so smoothly like they weigh almost nothing. If anything, I was pushing them with too much force!

I’ve been wanting to try curling for ages and finally did it today! The Belfast Curling Club volunteers were super friendly and welcoming.

In the AI course I took last fall, they called this “The Liar’s Dividend.” What happens when none of us can believe what we see, hear, or read online anymore? The lack of agreed-upon truth and the questioning of everyday reality will erode social trust and community bonds.

Single digits and a foot of snow on the way didn’t deter a couple hundred of our neighbors in Bangor, ME from protesting the murder of Alex Pretti by unlawful ICE agents. We stand against ICE brutality, from Maine to Minnesota!

It’s been a rough year and my usual Christmas movie favorites aren’t feeling quite right, but Anna and the Apocalypse never fails. It’s like Glee and Shaun of the Dead got together for a Christmas pageant. I love it.
