I’ve been wanting to try curling for ages and finally did it today! The Belfast Curling Club volunteers were super friendly and welcoming.
My wish for every Olympian is that they have the very best run, match, ski, or skate of their lives. I am cheering for absolutely every single one.
Every Olympics, I think “this time I’ll watch the opening ceremonies without sobbing.” And every Olympics, I’m wrong.
In the AI course I took last fall, they called this “The Liar’s Dividend.” What happens when none of us can believe what we see, hear, or read online anymore? The lack of agreed-upon truth and the questioning of everyday reality will erode social trust and community bonds.

So proud of our community coming together on short notice to speak up against ICE and tyranny.
Single digits and a foot of snow on the way didn’t deter a couple hundred of our neighbors in Bangor, ME from protesting the murder of Alex Pretti by unlawful ICE agents. We stand against ICE brutality, from Maine to Minnesota!
