This is truly a deranged thing to say to someone on a personal level.

This is going to be uncomfortable to hear and Waj/others will likely lash out but I hope some folks recognize that this type of 2019 era identitarianism is what drove some people towards white identity politics and thus Trump.

Charlie did not think my family should be legal! He’s also dead. So for me it’s not that useful to argue about gay adoption with the victim of political violence’s ghost. YMMV on that. But don’t tell me my community was less affected by his politics

in what way did Kirk target your family that was different from how he targeted mine? Please provide specific examples.

We disagree over whether it was helpful to shitpost during a funeral. This is a judgment call it’s unclear the value of making that choice a question of racial identity.

Condemning people based on their group characteristics is gross. When Megyn Kelly says "my people" are responsible for murder or when you say "Never Trump Whites" show their true colors. In a liberal democracy we should attack or praise people based on their actions not their group characteristics

What does being a white person have to do with this? Charlie Kirk's rhetoric targeted my family as much as anyones.

I'm of the view that we shouldn't be accelerating the country into a hot war & think its important that we take President Obama's advice on tone in the wake of political violence.
