I like that we get this drew drawn by someone with talent. Cause it looks like shit in the original episode, but kinda lovely here, especially with the roses getting real details.
I think it would’ve been funnier if Serena actually served the coffee properly and Polite Society accepted it lol

“One of you must be Sailor Moon as she‘s never passed my course.” Obviously it should’ve been “she could never pass my course.” Makes it seem like Sailor Moon herself was actively taking the course… lol
Kirsten Bishop is back! She voices the MoTD. Interestingly, the dub translates her name literally as “Polite Society.”
I’m kind of surprised Lita passed… she’s not very graceful.

Oh god, I take back what I said — most of the dialogue doesn’t match the animation.
I think is might be the first instance of the dub changing “coffee” to “cocoa.” In this setting it feels *extremely* goofy. Why not just change it to tea if you’re worried about teenagers drinking coffee??
Oh God, they edit the fuck out of the soap scene to avoid showing sweat drops. So not only does it look awful but the ENTIRE EPISODE already had tons of sweat drops! And they even kept a shot of Countess Rose with a giant sweat drop. 😭
Serena’s outfits are so cute this episode!
One of Serena‘s classmates looks like Miki from Devilman.
I like that Serena is still good as throwing a frisbee outside of being Sailor Moon.

A Christmas tree is present in Serena’s fantasy because this episode originally premiered the week of Christmas. I like that they brought back her masquerade dress! One of the party attendants looks like Neflite.
“So what is this place?” Serena asks… standing in front of her own school.
Another more today: “Little Miss Manners.” Always a delight watching an Ikuko Itoh episode.
Yeah, definitely. They’re obviously not keen on things that are ”too Japanese” but they’re hella inconsistent about it. They edited out an “anime fall” once but kept in all the other instances.
I hate that they changed out the Moon Healing Escalation SFX…
