I think you cut them as you use them and then they grow more. At least that's what I do. I let them get 6-8 inches then cut them to make crisp, cake or pie. My family also eat it raw with salt😜

First box made from salvaged fence boards (wind took 100 feet of cedar fence down). Hopefully my veggies like these boxes.

Turned out pretty good. I hope to put a soil compost mix in these boxes and grow my veggies. My current garden beds did not do well last year.
