Mount Vernon trail just south of Memorial Bridge. The route to cross the bridge has been plowed. The route under the bridge is still snow covered. There's not been enough use on the latter to carve out any clear paths.

Yep, plowed! But not all the way to Mem'l. Looked like plowed south of 14th. But I got off on the PNT connector so can't say for sure.

I've seen plenty of performances there. For the purpose, it's good. It is far too plush for my tastes. Yes, it's a big box with 8 spaces inside. That's a big project but allows for sharing some basic support. It's not to my taste but taste changes. My biggest beef is with the highway centric siting.

Definitely from Memorial Bridge to the Hopscotch Bridge and there were quite a few of them too. (I exited at Hopscotch over to PNT & then to CC.) In the px bg you can see 2 more framing the bicyclist and marking a turn in the trail.

I don't recall seeing them between Trollheim and Memorial Bridge.

Bike path along Potomac River with a tall yellow wooden stake aside the path. These are often used to guide snowplow operators and to keep them on track.

Is the Mount Vernon Trail going to get plowed this winter?!
