our "benefits" are those to do with child-bearing but most of us are single. we're not reproducing. we are the ones supporting our elderly parents. we need cheaper housing.

reading up the manifesto of the opposition and there's some interesting points that pertains to the general public especially financial-wise. nowadays, most policies gearing towards the aging population but what abt us middle-age/working adults? what are the benefits for us?

he also doesn't like how the head of our grc is so arrogant and kind of wishing for his downfall. someone needs to get his comeuppance. interestingly only he remains while the other 4 mps have moved or resigned.

it's interesting to talk about my country politics with my dad bc we don't take it too hard (i mean we are serious abt it but nothing crazy like disowning) and how his views abt the current leading party has changed since he was young. it really used to be for the people, now not much so.
