#70- Kamen Rider World

Ever want to see ZO & J team up against Shadow Moon? Well here you are. Cute special, nothing too substantial but it was nice to see them get some more use out of the 90s trilogy assets (and some from Black). And the idea of giant Riders fighting is a novel but fun concept.

#69- Kamen Rider J

A pretty straightforward and effective plot, the effects rocked, aesthetic also rocked as well. That final battle was incredible. Messaging felt a bit heavy-handed but I'd say J's probably my favorite of the 90s Rider trio of films.

#68- Kamen Rider ZO

Story's not much to write home about, but the aesthetics of it were right up my alley, which is to be expected of a Keita Amemiya directed work.

That said, the sudden vocal insert over B-Roll in the middle of the film was very lmao.

#67- Shin Kamen Rider: Prologue

Very interesting re-imagining of the classic Kamen Rider story. The effects are really good, but admittedly I can't help but feel pain at seeing Shin here at his peak, suit-wise. Especially when I recall the state the Shin suit is in now.

#66- Ultraman Zearth

This is such a ridiculous lighthearted movie in all the best ways. Every character in this film is unhinged as all hell in some way or another. Yet despite all that, this still carries the heart of Ultraman.

What an incredible film.

I've seen many names for Ultraman Kaiju over the years...

Cute special that's part Showa clipshow/part introduction for ZX. But boy does it feel like they throw a lot at you with that backstory in the first several minutes. Glad to finally knock this out though. It's always great to see the Showa Riders.

Decided to finally take my first step into this franchise and I can see why people praise this film. Unfortunately it didn't really hit as hard for me. I'd say I enjoyed it well enough, and I am curious to see what other entries have in store.

Glad to have seen this again but subbed. It's such a fascinating direction to take a post-series story via Kaiba's motives and despite being tied to the Manga, this was honestly the best follow-up to my rewatch of the OG anime before I hit GX.
