THE JOCKEY OF DEATH (1915), a circus pulp adventure starring real acrobats, is one of the most bonkers silents of the era and that's saying something. Deserves to be more widely known.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but weren’t there a lot of nickelodeons from this period that had pornographic or provocative images from this period too? Those were pretty big machines too and pretty readily available.

When I brought up the availability of adult material in the 1890s and 1900s compared to innocent ankle shots in the movies, I got quite a few people proclaiming that dirty stuff *must* have been harder to obtain.
