This would probably be the point for me too. When the corruption issues started becoming more of a problem. I've always chosen the Sims 4 over previous iterations because it was the most stable sims game. That's no longer the case, and it kind of makes me sad to be honest.

I have no idea. If it is a thing it's not in the settings where it should be. At this point I feel like we should have some sort of control over it, especially the notifications. There's too many of them now, and they are beyond annoying.

Most of them aren't even festivals. They're just a small gathering of sims, where literally nothing ever happens. 🙄🤷‍♀️

I'm so over them, and all the annoying notifications too! 😧

To wrap up the Paralives Appreciation Weekend, just some thoughts: remember this is a game releasing in EARLY ACCESS and made by a tiny team. This isn’t one of those greedy early accesses (not looking at anyone) that just launch early to make a quick buck for shareholders. Its an UNFINISHED game

One thing I hope for most is that they always do something autonomously that makes sense for them. In the Sims 4 I hate it when sims stand around doing nothing for undetermined amounts of time. Good autonomy is one of the things that I need most in life simulations.

Yes! It's been happening so much while I've been testing out the new pack in Gibby Point. Only kids seem to be affected by it?? 😧

I had the opposite problem in my first time kids camp, where nobody was ever feeding. They were living off marshmallows cooked in the camp fire. 😅

Currently I'm using mods to achieve this. However, if those mods were to ever stop being updated, I'm not sure I would find the will to keep playing. Random townies ruin the game experience so much.

My biggest desire in the Sims 4 is to have NPC management in the game settings... Being able to turn off random townies from spawning, and having the game use my own made over townies instead. That's the dream. Plus keeping sims in their own worlds too. I need this so much...

Honestly it wasn't the best proposal. I just had them do it during a camping trip to Granite Falls. It's been something I regret, since I know it could have been much better. Their wedding was so nice though. 😅

It doesn't get any better as it goes along either. Mostly it's just buying stuff, moving the toy around, and taking pointless pictures of it. 🙄😅

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I swear I read something about this, and it turned out be mccc causing the issue. If you use the mod. It might be a good idea to update it?

I feel like the Sims 3 has a nice balance between the two, gameplay wise. I can't be bothered with it though, cause it needs so many fixes, and it still doesn't doesn't run that great when they are done.

I do agree with this. I absolutely loved the Sims 2 when I used to play it, and I still love it now when I see other people play it. However, for me as I've grown older. I find I prefer that more cozy side of the Sims 4. I tried to play the Sims 2 a few months back, but I just couldn't get into it.
