Winning an eBay bid battle for Batwheels toys discontinued for my lil guy so we can play together with it is what really got me cheesing today.
Today is particularly special for me and the anniversary of winning a battle with my mental health and smiling at the small things. Feeling grateful ๐ฅฒโฃ๏ธ
Thanks for adding a few more seconds to my average

09.01.2026 04:14 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Tailwind needs ads/sales because the OS community consumes without paying. Non-profit status won't help it just forces the team to chase grants instead of shipping code. Potential sustainable path isn't donations, it's Open Core: keep the base free, but monetize enterprise tools.

background-image: linear-gradient(...)
โForget shorthand..like how is a gradient technically an "image"?! ๐ Is it just to enforce a solid color fallback?
โMake it make sense. ๐

Head of design of Cursor roasting start up sites made by cursor. I think it's both a curse of Y combinator slop and Ai slop. I appreciate Ryo keeping it real, shows there is a lot of value of designers and engineers.
"You want to avoid the typical ai slop..."

07.01.2026 13:18 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ค Human language/coding language has always slowed down computers. It's intentionally there for us to understand it and speak to it but a computer doesn't have to talk like us
If this catches on it could be a huge pivot, but also a creepy pivot. Truly just trusting a robot

30.12.2025 18:41 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Was reviewing API props with the team and showed a doc using multi-color.
They said multicolor (no dash) is better.
I said, โThatโs where I draw the line!"
(because the dashโฆ is a line.)
Iโll see myself out.
I totally agree with all your points. Great write-up! One thing we made sure to do my time at the Washington Post was to ensure that any props that were not code had a prefix ๐ต so folks had a sign that it was a figma only prop as I found somethings because of the tool just had to exist
