This perfectly encapsulates how I feel living in the US. The republican party is an insane death cult, the democratic party is 3 corporations in a trench coat, and the "socialists" are just the completely normal left-wing capitalists you'd find in any of 2 dozen European nations.

They REALLY trust their security because starving people stop caring about formalities like laws or punishment for breaking them. There are plenty of folks in prison for selling drugs to make ends meet. Whole genres of our pop culture are dedicated to taking violent revenge for this shit.

So let me get this straight: SCOTUS is tacitly endorsing starving people as a bargaining chip so that Republicans can deprive people of healthcare too. Do I have that correct?

All in service of declaring the President to be a king, unbound by the Constitution?
